I'm sorry but I just have to say
That I never wanted it this way
I thought that I was in love
I thought you were sent from above
But now it appears so clear to me
That is only how I wanted it to be
I wanted so much to feel like that
That when I knew you liked me
I thought I liked you back
But now it has become so clear
That even though I like you near
It wasn't with you I was in love
I had only ever fallen for the idea
I'm sorry to have messed you around
I hope that your heart has not been broken
Although some words are best unsaid
I thought these ones should be spoken
